Larsen Antennas UHF mobile gain antennas use a collinear design that aims the signal at the horizon for maximum effectiveness and an effective power gain. Electrical types include 1/4-wave, 1/2-wave, 5/8-wave, 5/8 over 1/4 wave collinear, 5/8 over 1/2 wave collinear, and 5/8 over 5/8 wave collinear.
