Larsen low band antennas

Larsen Antennas offers all low/mid band frequencies from 27 MHz to 136 MHz for the NMO or Motorola TAD/TAE style mount. "Q" antennas for the LM mount are available for frequencies from 52-136 MHz. Larsen NMO low band antennas are a loaded quarter-wave design.
Mid bands are a 1/4-wave design. Each antenna features the exclusive Kulrod plating that assures you maximum radiation efficiency without loss of power in rod resistance and heating. Both NMO and LM series offer a variety of permanent or temporary mount configurations.

Larsen's low/mid band line offer these superior performance advantages:

  • Handles full 200 watts of power 
  • VSWR at 1.5:1 or less 
  • Heavy-duty base coils are air wound for lowest RF loss 
  • DC grounded on models with loading coils 
  • Tough 17-7 stainless steel Kulrod plate whips for maximum radiation efficiency. 
  • Available in black, chrome or unplated 
  • Optional shock spring that is internally shorted with highly flexible insulated wire to eliminate distortion 
  • Durable Makroblend shells are UV and chemical resistant
